DRYBROOK starlet Natasha Hunt helped England to a second-place finish at the Okinawa 7s over the weekend.

Hunt touched down in a 24-5 semi-final win against Australia before England lost 29-7 to Canada, having beaten the Maple Leafs 28-19 in their first Pool B match on Friday.

England came back from 14-7 down at half-time to draw 19-19 with Australia in the pool stage before beating Japan B 26-10 in their final game on Friday.

Hunt and her teammates then earned a place in the semi-finals with a 33-14 win over Fiji before taking on Australia once more

England conceded an early Page McGregor try to Australia, but after that Matthews, Hunt and two tries for Breach put them into the final.

However, the final was dominated by the Maple Leafs as England were unable to get on the scoreboard until the final minute in reply to five Canadian tries shared between five players, demonstrating their strength in depth.
