BISHOP’S Stortford gained a well-deserved victory over a strangely out of sorts Cinderford team.

The defeat marked the first time in almost exactly seven years since Cinderford last failed to score in a competitive fixture – a 24-0 loss at Tynedale on November 26, 2011.

The fact that the Foresters suffered such a loss at Dockham Road will be all the more galling for the home supporters, who had not seen their side beaten without reply since a 34-0 reverse at the hands of North Walsham in September 2005.
