A major remodeling proposal for Drews Farm in Taynton has been submitted to the Forest of Dean District Council.
The planning application (reference P1077/26/FUL) outlines extensive updates to the existing farmhouse. Proposed alterations include single-storey extensions to both the front and rear, a glazed rear stairwell extension, and a first-floor rear deck area. Additional exterior enhancements feature the installation of roof lanterns, dormer-style pitched roof elements, external cladding, and updated fenestration.
Because the proposed development impacts a public right of way, local residents are invited to review the plans. Documents can be inspected electronically at the Council Offices on High Street in Coleford, or online via www.fdean.gov.uk.
