Plans for up to 180 homes on land north of Carisbrook Road in Mitcheldean will be examined at a public inquiry.

The inquiry will open at 10am on Tuesday, October 6, at the council offices in Coleford.

Developer Gladman Homes Ltd is seeking outline planning permission for up to 180 residential dwellings, including affordable housing, together with public open space, landscaping and vehicle access points.

The application relates to land north of Carisbrook Road, Mitcheldean.

The Secretary of State will make the final decision on the proposal under powers contained within the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

Members of the public can attend the inquiry and, at the discretion of the Inspector, give evidence or make representations.
