THE Forest’s Dean Academy celebrated its best results ever, following GCSE and BTEC results day.

More students than ever before secured strong passes (grades 5 and above) in both English and Maths, and the year group has achieved a record-breaking number of grade 7+ results, including more grade 8s and 9s than ever before.

Headteacher Mrs Hannah Rowlands said: “We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2026 and the way they have approached their academic journey with determination, ambition, and a real sense of purpose.

“It has been a pleasure seeing these students grow and develop throughout their time with us, and we know they leave The Dean Academy with the skills, confidence, and aspirations to make the most of the opportunities ahead.

“Many thanks to all of the staff who have gone above and beyond working with these students along their journey and to all the parents and carers for their consistent support.

“We wish every member of the Class of 2026 continued success and happiness as they begin the next chapter of their lives.”
