A 57-year-old Whitecroft man caught in possession of cannabis in Lydney earlier this year has been fined £50.

Magistrates at Cheltenham imposed no other penalty on Stephen Smith, of Morcroft Place, Whitecroft, after he admitted having a blue cigarette tin containing herbal marijuana on 20th March 2026.

Neither did they order him to pay any costs –but they did order the forfeiture and destruction of the drug.
