A Yorkley teenager who dishonestly received a stolen jacket may be given a police caution rather than be sentenced by a criminal court.

At Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court, Jaidan Pitts of Harold Road, Yorkley, pleaded guilty to dishonestly receiving the Canada Goose jacket on 23rd January last year, knowing or suspecting that it was stolen.

The magistrates bailed him till 22nd October to give the prosecution time to consider whether to offer Pitts a police caution.

It is a condition of Pitts’ bail that he does not contact the owner of the coat or another named person.
