Speeding past the Over Farm Market on the A40 has cost a Rudford man a six months driving ban and a court bill of more than £1,000.

At Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court, Timothy Edwards, 56, of Buttermilk Lane, Rudford, was convicted under the Single Justice Procedure of exceeding a temporary 50mph speed limit in a Volvo XC40 at Over on 23rd November last year.

He was disqualified under the totting up procedure, fined £666 and ordered to pay £130 costs, as well as a surcharge of £266.
