A 40-year-old Pillowell man who flouted the 50mph speed limit on the A48 through Chaxhill has been banned from driving for six months.

At Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court, Michael Rhind of Main Road, Pillowell, admitted driving a Nissan Navara in excess of 50mph on 3rd October last year.

In addition to the driving ban, he was fined £123, ordered to pay £90 in costs and a £49 surcharge.
