A 62-year-old Lydbrook man has been conditionally discharged for six months after admitting that he grew four cannabis plants in the village.

Paul Moody, c/o Greenfield Close, Joys Green, pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates Court to cultivating the plants in Lydbrook on 12th October last year.

As well as the conditional discharge, the magistrates ordered him to pay £85 costs and a £26 surcharge.
