MITCHELDEAN won 5-4 at Westbury United in the Premier Division – but only Westbury will know how they ever lost.

Westbury raced into a 3-0 lead by half-time with the Mitcheldean defence all over the place.

Mitch manager Andre Titmuss changed to an attacking 3-4-3 formation at half-time, but Westbury added a fourth goal. Joe McGregor and Russ Whiting notched a couple apiece.

The heavens opened and the rain brought Mitcheldean to life.

The fight back began with goals from Clint Jones and Damon Beaumont, then Beaumont added two more for a tremendous hat-trick.

It was man of the match Jones, however, who knocked in Mitcheldean's crucial fifth.
