CORSE & Staunton skipper Ian Robson says he couldn't be happier with the progress his club has made on and off the field this season.

Despite losing to Charlton Kings on Saturday, Corse remain second in the West of England League Gloucestershire Division, having been promoted to the higher flight last season.

Robson said: "It is great to be in a team full of players that have been involved with the club for many years. We often field a first XI full of lads who have played for the club since they were under-11s and our older players are great club men, they coach the kids on a Thursday evening and help with the running of the club. I've been here seven years and am one of the newest members."
