LYDNEY coach Duncan Bell says this Saturday's home clash with Bournemouth is the biggest game in the club's history – because if they lose they are probably out of the National Leagues.
Time is running out for Lydney, who remain second from bottom of National Two South.
The only team they can realistically overtake is Bournemouth.
Bell was furious with his players after Saturday's 24-3 loss at Dings Crusaders and he accused them of 'giving up'.
He said: "We had 80 per cent of possession, dominated territory and did everything bar score in the first half, playing up the slope.
We turned around only 14-3 down and I was confident we would win, but we seemed to just give up.
"Dings were not that interested and were there for the taking.
"Our tackling was just embarrassing.
