BREAM made it two wins out of two with a four wicket success against Charlton Kings III.

Kings were bowled out for 116 in 37.1 overs with Paul Edwards (3-2), Ricky Sahabdeen (2-4), Chris Farr (2-26) and Terry Adams (2-5) taking the wickets.

The Foresters needed 35.5 overs to pass that total, relying on a patient 41 not out from Chris Farr, 39 extras and 18 from Julian Thomas.

After losing the early wicket of Laurence Castle, Jack Morris and Ben Andrew put on 132 for Parkend II against Newnham II.

Ben was out for 79, but Jake Parsons kept things going to the close with an unbeaten 40.

Morris was caught off the penultimate ball of the innings for 90 as Parkend scored 238-3.

Wicket-takers for Newnham were Ross Keddle (1-18), Dave Dallow (1-29) and Connor Brackpool (1-47). In their desperate search for wickets they used 10 bowlers. The Newnham innings never got going with only Connor Brackpool (25) and Joe Worgan (21) reaching double figures.

Andy Taylor (2-4), Ryan Burris (2-14), Tom Tremlett (2-23) and Ed Halford (1-17) helped restrict Newnham to a total of 83.

Yorkley easily beat Eldersfield by nine wickets after bowling them out for 57.

A rapid 34 not out from Tom Rudd saw Yorkley through to 60-1 in 13.2 overs.

Newent's young third XI made 156-5 against Huntley II with 51 from Darren Matthews.

Kris Abbott (76 not out) and 14-year-old Dan Hall (29 not out) helped Huntley win the game by eight wickets.
