Cinderford Town 0

Swindon Supermarine 1

THIS season is definitely not panning out as Cinderford Town had hoped.

Another home defeat plunged them into the bottom five, although again, there was very little between the two sides.

Cinderford boss Steve Peters handed a debut to recent signing from Newport County Kris Fielden, who shot narrowly wide from a good team move. However, the visitors grabbed a crucial fifth minute advantage when Cinderford failed to deal with a Taylor free-kick, allowing Prictor to slot past Alex Harris.

Cinderford had chances to equalise in the first half but did not take them.

Supermarine keeper Kavppinen made an excellent save to keep out a Lewis Sommers header, then foiled the big striker again by spreading himself to block another great scoring opportunity.

Early in the second half Cinderford lost Andy Lewis with a hamstring injury.

The game remained in the balance with Town goalie Alex Harris diving bravely at the feet of Edenborough.

Sommers had another effort saved by Kavppinen, while a Dale Evans drive thumped against the woodwork. Late in the match, Greg Lewis bravely blocked a well-struck Prictor effort, while Harris and Archer combined to thwart Edenborough.
