CINDERFORD Town have put in seven days notice to sign a player they let go at the end of last season.

Lee Smith has been in outstanding form for Cirencester Town this season, scoring 13 goals, more than he got throughout the whole of 2012/13 for the Foresters.

He netted two of the goals in Cirencester's recent 3-1 win at The Causeway and was the stand-out player on the night.

Smith says he won't be returning to Cinderford at once - but did not shut the door on a possible return.
