CINDERFORD'S Jason Morgan had a fraught weekend on the national section of Wales Rally GB, but he and Adie Williams managed an incredible fight back to cross the finish ramp in Llandudno in 19th position.

On the opening stage in Gartheiniog, an overshoot caused damage to the front intercooler of their Mitsubishi (pictured in action).

A puncture held them up in Dyfi, then the rear differential cried 'enough' on stage three.

The final day of the event was shorter than the previous two, and a fourth fastest time put the crew in a positive mood.
