Redbrook Rovers Reserves had a 3-0 win over Harrow Hill B in the first round of the F J Pope Cup.

Sam Hamley opened the scoring after half an hour for the Wye Valley side.

Daniel Bodenham took the Man of the Match honours with an assist and two goals in 10 minutes.

The first after 66 minutes and the second with a quarter of an hour remaining, ensured the win against Hill who had been reduced to 10 men after a red card for kicking the ball away.

Riley Joe Phelps scored a brace as Soudley Reserves beat Woolaston Reserves in the opening round of the Geo Sandoe Cup.

Soudley’s other goals came from Clint Jones, Alfie Hampson and Naylan Jenkins.

Callum Guest got onto the scoresheet for Woolaston.

There were just 12 games played across the entire four divisions of the North Gloucestershire League.

Westbury United, who are fifth in the Premier Division, closed the gap with fourth-placed Broadwell Reserves with a 2-3 win.

Harry Howells, Dillano Pennant and Ackeem Wright scored for United.

United are two points behind but have three games in hand.

In the other Prem match, Woolaston beat struggling Whitecroft 0-3.

Paul Crooks, Elliott Greening and Lewis Taylor got their goals.

Division One leaders Staunton and Corse Reserves extended their lead to eight points.

They beat bottom side Ruardean Hill Rangers Reserves 6-2.

James Bowers opened the scoring for Staunton after 14 minutes,

Two goals within 10 minutes from Daniel Gittings made it three after 36 minutes.

Matthew Crabb added a fourth with some five minutes of the first half left and the score was 4-1 at the interval.

Crabb added his second six minutes into the second period and Glen Ferguson made it six after 58 minutes.

The scorers for Rangers were Aaron Barnett and Mike Harrison.

Oli Osborne salvaged a point for Redmarley and Tibberton United with an equaliser deep into injury time.

Opponents Lydbrook Athletic were looking for three points to close the gap with second-placed Redbrook Rovers to a single point.

A goal from James Turley had set up Athletic but Osborne snatched away the win with a goal in the 94th minute.

Harrow Hill Reserves swapped places with fourth-placed Tidenham thanks to a 0-4 win in Tutshill.

Matt Boseley scored twice with Dan Layton getting one and Jordan Turner hitting a penalty.

Kieran Murray scored as Mushet and Coalway Reserves beat Yorkley 1-0.

In Division Two there were 14 goals as Lydney Town B beat Mitcheldean Reserves 10-4.

Leaders Bream Reserves beat third-placed Harrow Hill A 1-2.

Nathan Meredith got the visitors’ first goal after 35 minutes and Jordan Griffiths added a second with 20 minutes to go.

Blakeney Reserves beat Rank Outsiders 3-1 with goals from Jacob Bryant, Owen Fox and Andrew Rowles.

Jordan Wayman got the goal for the visitors.

Division Three leaders English Bicknor Reserves had a 2-0 win over Tidenham Reserves.

Rank Outsiders Reserves went into the break at 0-0 against Broadwell A.

But it was Broadwell who took the points with six unanswered second half goals.

Deano Harrison scored a hat-trick in Westbury Reserves’ 6-1 win over Staunton and Corse A.

Westbury’s other goals came from Lee Brickley, Ajair Wright and Alex Alex Wyman.
