With the course fully open on Sunday, including the use of buggies, 64 golfers had signed up for the Team Stoke Index Bowmaker and, with only a couple of teams commencing their round, the decision was made to close the course, this time due to fog, and as a result the competition was cancelled.
Unfortunately, the same weather phenomenon curtailed the Seniors rescheduled December Medal on Monday morning, as the fog had refused to vacate the area early enough to allow the competition to take place.
