Gloucestershire Premier
Frampton Cotterell 18
Drybrook 13
A LOSING bonus point was Drybrook's only consolation for a hugely disappointing defeat to lowly Frampton.
Back in October Drybrook thumped Frampton 67-0, but there was to be no repeat of that effort.
The first half was all about Frampton as their bigger forwards gave Drybrook a difficult time.
Tom Treherne exchanged penalties with the Frampton kicker, but the home side eased in front with another penalty and a try from a line-out catch-and-drive.
Frampton's next try followed a break from their scrum-half, who cruised through a static defence.
Trailing 18-3 at half-time, Drybrook improved after the interval.
Danny Griffiths was driven over from close range, with Treherne adding the extra points.
Drybrook continued to press, but had to settle for a late Treherne penalty to give them that losing bonus point.
