PAUL Morris praised his Cinderford side after a shuffle of personnel saw the Foresters earn a 29-27 comeback win at ‘healthy rivals’ Chinnor.

Director of rugby Morris (pictured) declared himself ‘chuffed’ with the performance that saw Cinderford come back from 22-5 down as George Boulton played in an unfamiliar role at fly-half – bringing ‘authority’ to the position, according to Morris.

Regular outside-half Danny Pointon was rested, as well as captain George Porter and Jack Shields.

“We had a decent win the week before against Loughborough but we didn’t want to rest on that win,” Morris said.
