CINDERFORD Director of Rugby Nic Corrigan has made four changes to his team for this weekend’s local derby against Hartpury College, with prolific United winger Harrison Yorke starting against The Foresters’ National League One rivals.
Yorke comes in at 14, while Syd Blackmore replaces Marcus Brown at flanker and scrum-half Danny Pointon is in for Jimmy Williams, who moves to the bench.
Chris Bundy also starts at prop, pushing Will Goodrick-Clarke to a replacements spot; and Jerry Sexton makes his second appearance for Cinderford at lock.
“Hartpury will provide us with the highest level challenge this season we have faced,” Corrigan said.
“They have made an impressive side. They are well resourced with a huge talent pool of not just students in their ranks, which proves their progression towards Championship rugby is a clear one.
“It will be a tough game for us and we need to play 80 minutes of rugby against this opposition.”
Cinderford side v Hartpury: Mike Wilcox (capt), Harrison Yorke, Sam Hanks, Robbie Winchle, Alex Pickersgill, Callum Sheedy, Danny Pointon; Chris Bundy, Davy McGregor; Francisco Bruno, Jerry Sexton, Roger Birkin, George Mills, Syd Blackmore, Matt Lane.
