AS younger sister Jess was helping Drybrook Ladies win promotion to the Women’s Championship South West, Natasha Hunt was in the middle of claiming the latest leg of the World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series in Canada.

Hunt and her England teammates defeated New Zealand 31-14 in the final in Langford having knocked out series leaders Australia in dominant fashion in the semi-final.

Hunt made a crucial intervention in that game, tackling Australia’s Mahalia Murphy in the try area with less than a minute remaining and knocking the ball out of the attacker’s hands. England won 15-5.

The triumph in Canada means England are third in the overall standings behind New Zealand and Australia.
