EIGHT players make their first league start for Cinderford as they kick off the new campaign for promotion from National Two South.

New captain George Porter leads the Dockham Road outfit for the first time in competitive action tomorrow (Saturday September 3) against Canterbury at 3pm.

Eamonn Rees, George Bvuma, Sam Goatley, Lee Hathaway, James Tideswell, Dale Lemon and Aaron Ryan also make their debuts, whilst George Evans and Chris McNeil return after playing elsewhere last season.

Will Haly, who is dual registered from Gloucester, will make his debut from the bench at hooker.
