DRYBROOK-raised Ceri Large featured heavily in England’s dominant 32-0 win over Scotland in their opening Six Nations fixture on Friday.
Large had a big part to play in England’s victory in Glasgows, having a hand in both of Harriet Millar-Mills’ two scores.
The World Cup winner crashed through the Scotland defence to set up the ruck that Millar-Mills profited from in the first half, before passing to the flanker to put her in for the game’s third try.
It was a strong start to the tournament for England, who were placed third in the first official ranking of the women’s game behind New Zealand and France.
Next up for Ex-Drybrook RFC starlet Large and her England teammates are Italy away on Friday, against whom she has been given another start.
