FOREST girl Katy Curd is the 2014 World Four Cross mountain biking champion of the world.

She won her crown at Leogang in the Austrian Alps.

The 25-year-old, who has been riding mountain bikes from a young age, is sponsored by Cinderford company Raw Sports.

"I knew this was my last chance at this title and it meant so much to me," she said.

"I can't explain just how good it feels!"
