CINDERFORD Town Football Club want to be playing in a new £2.2 million stadium within two years.
The club is in preliminary talks with the Forest E-Act Academy (formerly Heywood School) over plans to build a state-of-the-art new football stadium on their land.
Should the move happen The Causeway ground would be sold to developers – with KW Bell the favoured option. KW Bell is also the favoured option for the development of the new stadium, in order to bring more work to the area.
Bryan Robson Sports, the business of former Manchester United and England player Bryan Robson, is responsible for the bulk of negotiations on Cinderford Town's behalf.
