PLANS to develop Bream Rugby Club's clubhouse have been deferred so that Forest of Dean planners can observe the amount of car parking needed for a home game.
The Forest of Dean planning committee is considering an outline application for the demolition of the existing clubhouse, associated changing rooms and outbuilding and for it to be redeveloped to make way for a new clubhouse and associated parking along with 14 new homes.
Planning committee chairman Coun Terry Glastonbury said: "There is definitely an overspill when a home game is being played with cars being parked in the main road."
