HAMISH O'Hare (Lydney Boxing Club) got stopped in the second round against London champ Billy Chandler in the England Boxing Junior National Under-15s semi-finals (under-60kg). The fight took place in Sittingbourne. Hamish got caught with a good right hand and the ref gave him a count. As soon as the count was over, Chandler finished his opponent off. Hamish's coach Bryan Higgs said: "Hamish just did not seem himself on the day – I put it down to the long journey to the Isle of Sheppey. "The Lydney Club is really proud of him for getting to the national semi-finals and stopping two lads on the way. He entered the competition with only three bouts under his belt."
