THERE will be no fairytale return to Twickenham this year for Drybrook, following their narrow 8-0 defeat at Wells in the South West semi-finals of the Intermediate Cup.
The game finally got underway after two postponements due to the weather, but the match was moved away from the main Wells ground to a nearby field, totally lacking in facilities.
Drybrook put the home side under constant pressure, even when reduced to 14 men after flanker Lee Ward was yellow carded.
However, it wasn't to be Drybrook's day as the Foresters had a try disallowed and normally reliable kicker Ollie Clements missed two penalties.
