Newent Town A stunned previously unbeaten Aylburton Rovers by beating them in both legs of their Pope Cup semi-final.

Town won the first leg 5-2 and Rovers threw everything at them in the second game.

Newent keeper Jason Nash was in outstanding form to rescue his side with some amazing saves.

In the second half Matthew Kenny slotted a penalty for Town, then breakaway strikes from Carl Stevens and Ben Wroblewski secured a cup final place against Littledean.

Littldean lost the first leg of their semi-final tie against Harrow Hill A 3-2, but stormed back to win Saturday's second encounter 4-0.
