TWO years of hard work at Lydney Town have finally paid off after the club were offered a place in the Hellenic League Premier Division.
Town have been working on their ground at the town's rec on Swan Road for the last 24 months, making it ready for any promotion success the club may have.
And the club were given a reprieve after a disappointing season that saw them drop out of the Hellenic Division One West top two right at the end of the season.
Town will now join Gloucestershire rivals Longlevens and Tuffley Rovers, who finished first and second in Division One West respectively.
