LOCAL professional golfer Jamie Dick finished off the winter schedule on The Gecko Tour in Spain with a top 20 and top 10 in the last two tournaments.

The penultimate tournament was played in fantastic weather over three rounds at the Guadalmina GC and with a total score of -5 Jamie finished T15.

The Gecko Tour Masters is the grand final tournament of the season and was played over two rounds at La Canada GC. Although in contention for a win right up until the final three holes, Jamie unfortunately dropped a shot on the last par 3 to finish on a score of -3 and in seventh place.

Overall, 19-year old Dick has a great winter season and finished in ninth place on the Gecko Tour Order of Merit table.

His game looks to be in great shape for the upcoming PGA EuroPro Tour that kicks off with Final Qualifying at Frilford Heath GC in Oxfordshire on 6-8 April. He is looking to secure a top-30 place to ensure he gets a start in every tournament through the summer.
