THE best of the Forest's footballing talent will come head-to-head with the Dean's top team once again this summer.
But according to the Forest Select XI's coaches, this time 'there has to be a winner' in their match against Cinderford Town.
Last year, ex-Town man Paul Williams joined forces with Martin Reid and former Cinderford defener Paul Wilband to create a squad of the Forest's best players.
The Forest XI drew 1-1 at the Causeway after organising the fixture with fervent Town fan Ken Phelps.
The game attracted over 350 spectators to the club and gave Town boss John Brough a chance to cast his eye over local players.
Defender Josh Nelmes signed with the Town not long after appearing in the fixture last summer and while the game ended in a draw, this time a trophy will be on hand for the victors of the game, scheduled for July 10.
The Forest XI squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Aaron Underwood (Ruardean Hill Rangers), Steve Bowles (Ellwood/Soudley).
Defenders: Ben Schiller (Lydney Town), Dan Mason (Harrow Hill), Alex Brown (Broadwell), Sam Elliott, Niall Halford (both Lydney Town).
Midfielders: Kerry Hale, Ryan Wilkes (both Broadwell), Jamie Addis (Lydney Town), Luke Brown (Ruardean Hill Rangers,) Matt Addis (Ellwood), Kristian Burnard (Lydbrook Athletic).
Forwards: Jared Liddington (Lydney Town), Steve Belfitt, Ross Gabriel (both Broadwell), Patrick Gibbs (Lydney Town).
