DRYBROOK and Olympian Natasha Hunt returns to the national 15-a-side game for the Old Mutual Wealth Series next month.
Former clubmate Ceri Large could yet be called up alongside her to represent England, after a number of injuries to the Red Roses squad.
Hunt, who helped Team GB to fourth place in the sevens competition at this year’s Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, signed a professional 15-a-side deal after returning home from the the sporting showpiece.
Hunt is joined by six other players who took part in Brazil.
The 27-year-old scrum half will hope to feature in fixtures against France, New Zealand and Canada, as well as an away fixture in Ireland.
“This season is all about building towards the Women’s Rugby World Cup in Ireland next August,” said head coach Simon Middleton.
“In the Old Mutual Wealth Series, we have the opportunity to take on the best sides in the world.
“We have a first-class squad of players and we have a number of options and combinations to choose from."
The Red Roses will get underway against France at Twickenham Stoop on Wednesday November 9, a match which is live on Sky Sports.
The side will then travel to Dublin to face Ireland at Dublin University College on Sunday November 13, before welcoming New Zealand to the Stoop on Saturday November 19.
They finally take on Canada following the conclusion of England v Argentina at Twickenham Stadium, kicking off at 5.05pm on November 26.
