CINDERFORD Town are working through a ‘manic’ month that has already earned them honours and recognition within the Southern League.

Town were named Southern League Team of the Month last week for their terrific run of success in March, while, off the pitch, their Causeway stadium has been awarded an FA ‘C’ grading which means they will be allowed promotion to the next level if they reach the divisional play-offs this year.

They were in the Southern League Cup semi-finals last night, and also have another cup semi later this month which is in the Gloucestershire Professional County Cup where they will be up against the might of League Two high-flyers Forest Green Rovers, again at home.

And, just to add some extra spice to matters, there is also as good a chance as ever that Town will go up from the Southern League after leaping to a place in the divisional play-offs battle last Saturday with their win away at Fleet Town.
