FORMER Cinderford Town boss John Brough expects his old club to play an entertaining brand of football in his return to the Causeway.

Brough, who managed Town to the Southern League Division One South & West title in 2015/2016, is currently in charge of North Leigh who visit the Forest tomorrow (3pm KO)

“I’m looking forward to seeing a few friendly faces,” Brough said.

“I had a good two years there and obviously the pinnacle of that was winning promotion.

“It didn’t finish how I would have like but unfortunately but that’s football sometimes.

“First and foremost my thoughts will be coming back to get three points for North Leigh.

“We’ve lost two in a row now after winning four, so we need to bounce back.”

Brough was on hand to see Town’s 1-0 loss at Evesham United earlier in the season and praised the style of football Paul Michael’s side played that day.

“I was pleasantly entertained by that game,” he said.

“They tried to get the ball down and play and they could have won that game with the number of chances they had.

“They try to get their wing backs involved and the ball to their centre forward like a lot of teams in this league.”

Brough brings with him fellow ex-Town title-winners Elliot Keightley and Lorcan Sheehan, who captained the Foresters in Brough’s first season.

Former Cinderford Town defender Ryan Paddock is also at North Leigh.• PAUL Michael has moved to bring in two new players who are set to be eligible for the Town's home game against North Leigh.Bristol Rovers and Wales Under-19s striker James Spruce and Merthyr Town midfielder Benjamin Watkins have been snapped up by Town. Both players will be available for tomorrow’s game subject to paperwork being approved in time.Meanwhile, Nick Humphreys has left the Causeway to rejoin former club Shortwood United.
