NEWENT Town’s hopes of survival in Division One West of the Hellenic League took a blow after they suffered two defeats in four days.
Newent went down 7-2 at Cirencester Town Development on Saturday after a second half collapse saw them concede five goals.
Sam Farr gave Cirencester the lead at the Corinium Stadium after 24 minutes, but Tyler Weir netted a penalty to equalise as he slotted the ball into the top left corner.
