CINDERFORD Town boss Steve Peters says the Southern League's Christmas fixture schedule is 'just ridiculous'.

Town must play five league games between December 21 and January 4.

Peters said: "We've got four games in 10 days over Christmas, which is too much for a semi-pro club.

"We're not paid thousands of pounds and our players come from all over the place."
