EIGHT gymnasts from the Forest of Dean Gymnastics Club have been selected for Gloucestershire's 2013 squad.

Ten Forest gymnasts competed in the recent trial in Bristol.

Anna Preest, Lillian Randall and Ione James successfully gained places in the county mini development squad with Anna achieving the second highest score of 86.5%.

Katie Jones, Lily James, Lucy Smith, Zea Levy and Charlotte Armstrong were all selected for the county development squad.

Eliza Cripwell sustained an arm injury during the warm-up and was unable to complete the trial.
