JAMIE Dick has been named player of the year at Forest Hills Golf Club.

It's been a fantastic year for Dick, who won the club's premier event, the 36-hole Club Championship, for the second time at just 16 years of age.

He defended his crown with a gross 149 for a two shot win over Stuart Hardy and James Dobbs.

Dick also represented Gloucestershire under-16s this season and won the prestigious Gloucestershire Golf Union Jeff Hall Trophy.
