DRYBROOK coach Fraser McArdell says he was surprised by the ferocity of his first Forest derby with Berry Hill.

A crowd of around 500 saw the Squirrels beat Berry Hill 22-0 in Western Counties North and former Scotland under-20s player McArdell admitted the passion and intensity of his first Forest derby caught him on the hop.

He said: "'It's the biggest crowd I've seen at The Mannings by a country mile'.
