DIRECTOR of Rugby Andy Deacon was a relieved man rather than a happy one, after seeing his Cinderford side scrape a nail-biting 28-27 win over fellow strugglers Tynedale at Dockham Road on Saturday.

"One of the areas we need to work on is our ability to keep the ball," he said.

"Some of the ball retention in the first ten minutes was great, they didn't reach the ball - but then they went 7-0 up.

"Going down that early after starting well was disappointing.
