GLOUCESTERSHIRE spinner Tom Smith presented the trophies to winners from the County League’s seven divisions at the annual presentation event at Cheltenham Civil Service CC.

Smith also took part in an onstage interview with the Gloucestershire Cricket Board’s Luke Sellers where he offered an interesting insight into the art of spin bowling.

Division One champions Cirencester celebrated their promotion to the West of England League after finishing as runners-up in four of the last six years and only missing out due to the league restructure in 2015.

But Forest cricketers were celebrated in the division’s awards with Dan Hockaday of Westbury-on-Severn sharing the top bowling honour with Cirencester’s Tom Fullalove.

Redmarley’s Stewart Hudd was also honoured with the joint-top fielding award with Matt Carter.

Alex Gray of Newent was honoured as the top batsman in Division Three, while Lydney II bowler Phil Lewis won the top award for his efforts.

Dymock received their congratulations for winning Division Five, with Harold Senior claiming the division’s top fielding prize, while Ruardean Hill celebrated their runners-up place in Division Seven.
