CINDERFORD captain Mike Wilcox will link up with the England Counties squad once again after being selected for a tour of Romania this week.

Wilcox, who is joined in the squad by teammate and debutant Leo Fielding and ex-Cinderford hooker Sam Wilkes, was voted as the club's supporters' player of the year at the annual awards evening at Dockham Road.

England Counties play CSM Bucresti on Friday, June 5 before taking on Romania A on Tuesday June 9.

Cinderford also announced the signing of winger Sam Denham - director of rugby Nic Corrigan's ninth new player so far this summer.

Denham has featured for England Under-16s as well as the Exeter Chiefs Under-18 team and Leicester Tigers' academy.
