THIRTEEN-YEAR-OLD Tadeusz Jenkins from Coalway passed his Shodan (First Dan black belt) at the Bristol Dojo.
The Broadwell Karate Club member (pictured) is now among the youngest black belt students in the association, who rarely award black belts to under-16s.
Tadeusz has been a Broadwell student for six years.
He works closely with the club's Paul James and Sensei Alan Flook, Seventh Dan.
Tadeusz has also trained with England Kata coach Jon Mottram.
