FORMER Gloucester rugby captain Adam Balding has signed for Cinderford for the remainder of the season.

Talks between the Forest Club and Balding have been ongoing since September. Balding was recently appointed as Gloucester city's coirdinator for its Rugby World Cup 2015 preparations.

Cinderford director of rugby Andy Deacon said: "We are thrilled to have Adam join us. His rugby CV speaks volumes and as a talented back-row forward, competent at six, seven or eight, he is a great addition to the squad."
