THREE farms in the Forest were raided at the weekend with more than £10,000 of property stolen.

Two quad bikes and four chainsaws were stolen from three farms sometime over Friday night.

A grey Polaris Magnum quad bike was taken from a farm stable yard in Hewelsfield, a brand new red Honda quad bike from a farm workshop in Tidenham Chase and three Stihl chainsaws and a Husqvarna chainsaw from a farm workshop near Aylburton.

The burglaries, believed to be linked, happened between 7pm on Friday and 10am the following morning.
