POLICE are looking for two men who punched and threw a pint glass at a doorman in a Coleford night spot.

The pair attacked the 21-year-old man at the Angel Hotel after being caught jumping over a fence to get in.

Now police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at the Market Place pub at around 1.15am on Saturday.

They say the victim, from Gloucester, was punched by one of two men being thrown out for jumping over a fence to gain entry.

The other offender then threw a pint glass at him, causing a substantial cut to the ear that needed stitches.

The victim attended Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment.

One of the offenders is described as white, around 18 to 19 years old, of thin build and with short blond hair.
