A series of planning applications affecting listed buildings, conservation areas and rural properties across the Forest of Dean have been submitted to the district council.

Among the proposals is a scheme at the Kings Head in Blakeney, where both full planning permission and listed building consent have been sought for alterations to the historic pub. Plans include changes to the front elevation, installation of solar panels, and internal works to separate the upper floors from the ground-floor commercial space.

Elsewhere, works at Glebelands in Hartpury would see replacement windows and repairs to the timber frame of the listed property, while an orangery extension is proposed at Murrells End Barn in Redmarley.

Additional applications include a retrospective extension at Hyde Park Corner, Redmarley, and design changes to a garage at Hawgreen Cottage in Staunton.

Residents have until June 3, 2026, to comment on the proposals via the council - for details visit https://publicnoticeportal.uk
